Yes that one next to the existing sender will be the best bet, the adaptor for your new sender is a bit bulky.

Thanks - given its proximity to the oil pressure sender (you can just see in the corner) thought it may be similar - will order a "T" then .... currently, "idiot" light on the dash doesn't function at all - I assume that it should be lit upon ignition but go out when engine fires up ?

Hey guys and gals,
So I ordered a "T" piece to spilt my oil sender in electrical and mechanical.
I ordered a "Dodge" applicable one on flea bay and its (thankfully) too small by a long way - I'd hate to have tried to "tap" it in and stripped the thread ......
At this point I'm at a loss - in a 74 challenger 340, what is the thread ID for this ? Anyone know with certainty ? This one has the 1/8 takeoff for the mechanical capillary tube but I need a match on the threads before I can install. I have googled myself silly and cannot find it ....... Help !
Ideally, add an idiot proof link and I will buy it ...
Cheers all

Do you not have a few different size bolts you could try, then measure the bolt?
