Well, I was mostly out at the Nostalgia Nationals at Santa Pod, fresh engine rebuild, new torque convertor, etc.
It has changed the whole feel of the car and the power delivery.

Ran a best of 9.89 Secs at 137.
On this run it picked up 10 mph by the 1/8th at 110 mph....whilst I was getting my arse kicked by "Suzy Q"....

The best mph was 138.

The best 60 foot time was 1.40.

Loads more tuning to do.

Driver would benefit from some attention as I am useless on a Sportsman Tree.... I let the car down, it performed flawlessly all weekend, which was nice...

(Posted in another thread too.... )

Driver can learn. The most impressive bit was ‘flawlessly all weekend’ straight out if the box.
Respect.

She had to pull the 'chute as we went over the line as she had a mechanical failure - the car almost did a dead stop from around 175mph - bearing in mind I was nearly doing 140 mph - bits bouncing all over the shut down area, and I did not know where her car was going to go. Quite Scary.

She was so professional and got right off the racing line immediately.

I checked with her and she was Ok.

Her main response was "We wanted to run next to a Mopar".

Very cool lady. :salute:
