Can't remember much about it to be honest. I didn't get much time to look and chat about it because it was the Mountain Rescue vehicle and we were supposed to be rescuing my young lady with a badly sprained ankle up on "Haystacks" above Lake Buttermere. I guess it was a bit naughty of me to start talking cars and looking under the bonnet....
Well she had only been up there and in pain two hours. No rush really.
The Land Rover went up the mountain pretty well though.

Just love that pic of Ivor & Dave

... bit worried about the shoes tho... my son's got some like that, better not let him take them to the Nats
Dunno if this is the right place to do it, but I think I might be able to recommend someone to David... or should I start a new thread
He could try Paul Knight ('Knights of London'), who's in Acton (sort of north-ish, but technically west london): tel 0208 992 2655
or
depending how far north he wants to go, try
Bob Harman Performance (Watford) 01923 226700
Both should be able to cope with the work no prob, but just dont give Paul any work till our car's outta there

A reply from David:
"Once again thanks for all your help. I thought it was only the rusty rover mob that went the extra mile but i can now say with lots of gratitude and delight that the mopar muscle crowd could give them a run for their money any day!! If you hear any more please please give me a shout.
And i think we can safely say you'll have a new and very appreciative member very soon
Big big thanks,
David"
