The clutch consists of a billet outer basket and billet inner basket

The inner is connected to the gearbox input shaft

The outer is connected to the crank somehow

Within this basket sits plates

These plates are packed alternately in the clutch basket

Running all the way thought the gearbox input shaft / though the gearbox and out the other side to the clutch slave cylinder is the clutch slave pushrod.

This clutch slave rod pushed the pressure plate outwards and releases the clutch . In a standard modern bike this pressure plate has springs that keep the clucth plates together under a set non adjustable pressure

So this is where it gets clever

The spring are fully tuneable to allow you to change the clutch pressure and when it bites

This plate has a built in RPM centrifugal lever system

This ultimately take the clutch control out of the user and make it an RPM activated clutch

Apparently this is so powerful it pulls the clucth lever out your fingers.

Softer spring make it launch softer

Harder spring launch harder

Less / more weights higher lower rpm

do you have to pre soak the clutch plates in oil before final assembly?

Clutch is an MTC Gen2

Installed the new harder front spring which is much better.

Set my ride hight to just over 50mm at the front. (ACU rules)

The bike is designed to have a higher rear ride hight so when ground affects are installed a negative pressure under the bike is present
