I'd already sent you an email Chris, but I'll give you a call Tomorrow.

There was this nasty repair on the passenger side foot well that I had intended to cut out and make a better job of. I investigated it a while back and found out it was thin tin stuck over the rust with some horrible rubbery chit. Not only that but whilst digging at it it was obvious the metal around it wasn't up to much either so I ordered a floor pan from Chris and thought I'll fix that another day. Today was that day....

I had only intended to cut back to good metal and just use a section of the new pan as needed. After looking at it for a while, I realised it would be easier and look better if I fitted the whole thing, so I went for it.

Never having needed to replace a floorpan before I assumed it would be a bit of a git. I have to say it was very straightforward and quite satisfying to do, I was also surprised that the new panel fitted so well, it needed virtually no massaging at all. I started at about 10 and had it all welded in by 4.30pm. I seam sealered it before I left so I can paint it Tomorrow, another job off the list....

The first bodywork job I did on the Belve was the front floorpans.
Very scary cutting them out, but like you said, a lot easier to weld in than you'd expect!
Nice one :thumbright:

Replacements parts arrived from WASP yesterday, so Caltracs all sorted now. A big thanks to Chris and Calvert, they had the correct parts delivered to me within days, superb!
