I've only just caught up with this Mister B, what a cracking job you are doing and well done on the stiffening ribs/swages in the floor panel, tip top job mate, it's a credit to you.

Thanks men and most of the hard work on making the panels was down to Will. We had a voyage of discovery with his new bead roller! Great fun though!
Im certainly learning...patience is a virtue with bodywork but thankfully I am loving it so I dont mind going over and over bits till Im happy with them.
Got some electrical projects I want to tackle but having a big push on the trunk next week to get that done and dusted.
Thanks for the support as always
cheers Steve
PS anyone know what thickness of polythene I need to source to redo the vapour barrier in the doors ???

Thanks Blue....patirnce and the MIG welder you very kindly donated to the cause!
I really benefit from following the build threads on here..gives us amateurs something to aim for (though probably never achieve). Even the tiniest detail on fabrication can be very helpful....
Cheers Steve

Definstely Blue....its quite easy to lose heart when you see whats being done by the pros but weve all got to start somewhere. Im not into even attempting anything race orientated but a lot of the fabrication stuff crosses over and can be applied to a stock project. ....And I see what you mean about having two hands free when welding!!
Just wish I had got stuck in years ago instead of dreaming!
