I'll do the primer but I'll try to get a mate round with a better gun and a lot more experience to apply the colour.

looks great, out of your two cars which one is being worked on the most right now?

Valiant hasn't had much attention this year but that will change once the Barracuda goes back together and frees up some space.

Screwfix do a brilliant gun called an 'Erbauer' Blue, runs rings round my DeVillbiss, best spray pattern i've ever come across and i think it was under £40, have a go yourself mate, hard to go wrong.

Is it this one Don?

At that price I really should have at it, was thinking I would need to spend upwards of £150 for something decent.

Thats the one Blue, its an amazing bit of kit and cheap too. So little over spray and takes little pressure too, i use mine all the time now instead of the DeVillebis ... :thumbright:

Yeah let us know mate, you might even finish up painting the whole car yourself. If its a straight colour, which i'm assuming it will be, you can do it a panel at a time

Sloshed! The colour is even and I've got a reasonable finish I reckon. First time I've used 2 pack, couple of small runs in the lacquer but those will flat out. Thanks for the push Don, I paint stuff now!
