Good news is the trucks back home on my drive at last, the bad news is Nicky hates it with a passion, says it looks like the Walton's have come for tea , plus it looks like the alternator has gone a knacker on the Grand Prix, great, I've now got 2 dead cars on my drive and the weather forecast for the next few days is RAIN
Well its back, and thats about how far it goes, P/S pump is now on with the correct brackets ( thanx Dunc), but when I took it for a test drive it seems to be reluctant to change gear below 4500 rpm and the throttle sticks, not a good combination. Think the changing issue is sorted ( kickdown lever wasn't held on its stop so box thought it was kicking down all the time ), now I can't test it cos the throttle cable is sticking like a bugger. A new Lokar cable is on the way from Neil, so hopefully by the weekend I will get to drive it ( and then see what else is broken!!! )
