Its been almost two years since I last made a post on here, I have done the odd bit honest..

No big report today I will have to sit down and do one at some point maybe ;) Anyhow I have spent all day in the garage trying to be busy, so here is what I have done today.

Well I have made little progress on this for some time as my body is officially Bananarama!, knees, feet, back and shoulder which I dislocated at work the other week

I pulled the car out of the garage at the begining of April and it doesn't seemed to have stopped raining since

I have never want the paint finish to be perfect ( trust me its a long way from there  ) there were some issues that needed to be sorted

The trunk lid is now painted and fitted, thanks to Mick who sent me some photos of how he attached his. I still have to mount the bonnet and I am not looking forward to that
Image

I repainted the rear quater as all the paint was peeling off, it doesn't look to bad for a rattle can
Image

All new fibreglass front end awaiting paint which will be painted satin black for now(because I have loads of cans)
Image

Just started on the wiring from scratch which will be fun :?

Getting there mate! The hood isn't too bad a job once you get going, I normally start at the rear corners and work forward. I'd use the large Dzus fasteners on a bonnet and you'll want 10 of them. I find using the pre made brackets is easiest even if you have to alter them, making the whole lot from scratch is a pain. Give me a call if you need any advice, 'cos I know most of the tricks, I've fitted hundreds of 'em!

I opted for pins on the front, i fixed my old bonnet with dzus fasteners and it was a pain in the arse.
Looking good Guy, be nice to see it go down the track.

I was going to use dzus fasteners but after chatting with Jon (Turnip) at the easter thunderball I decided to go with six of http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AEROCATCH-Plu ... 5644aebc70 they keep his hood on well into the nines so thats more than enough for me ;)

Rich spot on mate 8"
