The range rover pulled the thing brilliantly, though I was worried about getting it home safely considering the state of the roads.
Had another little play with it on Sunday. It was a dual exhaust car but at some point someone's routed one exhaust into the other, so that's 7.2-litres breathing through an exhaust barely big enough for a 2-litre Cortina. Another job on the list.
Found it doesn't like 95 Oct fuel at all – pinks like hell on it.

Superb car,change the carpet and the vinyl top,though beware that there might be some interesting rust around the base of the rear screen and top of windscreen.
Check the lower balljoints for wear,new ones are getting hard to find.
