Hi all, its been a few weeks since I have touched this due to a few issues with our home but I have been out playing again. Not much to update but progress is being made (slowly). Engine mounts are welded in, and the hole in the floor has grown to accomodate the bigger motor. When I have been working on her progress has been very slow due to me being over fussy and measuring and marking things out 400 times before cutting and welding :* . I have made enough room for one of the heads to go on but have just ran out of cutting discs. Hopefully next weekend I will heve the other head on and the engine will be in a state where I can crank it over and then I will start making up the new engine harness for the electronic ignition, gauges etc. Thanks again Dusty for the use of your crain.

It seemed like a good idea .
Have been busy again today
All thats left to do to get it running is plum in the cooling system and make the engine wiring loom. I will also be welding angle iron around the engine hole to serve two purposes, 1. to replace any strength I might have taken from the floor, and 2. to attach the bigger engine cover to when I make it.
Evening,
Not touched the van for a while so I thought I'd better do something today. That was until the Bananarama! weather ruined the day . So I decided to do the dash cluster instead.
Many Thanks again to TrevD for the machining work on the outer fascia. The clocks were sourced from a Rover P6 3500S, and the "THIS WAY & THAT WAY" are gong to flash green for the indicator tell tale lights .
