They aren't that bad. They only had to replace our Alfa the once.
I would give the FBO unit a go. If Turnip keeps replacements in stock? JUST in case.

Plus you could keep an "orange box" spare in the car in case it did pack up. Then you would never be stranded.

I would but I already have a spare MSD....and Trunip would have to offer a pretty attractive PX deal on them too!

Don updated it when they guys that were making them for him started out sourcing them to China and he is not a great fan of "chink junk"

Back in the day I bought Rosie one of those Lancia Beta coupe ragtops and the electrical system got so bad, it was like bloody Carlie Cairoli's car, switch on the lights and the wipers stopped and all that malarky.
I ended up getting an auto electrician to re-wire the thing!
