Thats great news thank you Derek hats off to you buddy I admire your determination, you never gave up and its paid off. I enjoy Brooklands its an event worth attending. I was wondering but guess its probably too early to say if the event will drop into the same weekend as before? It maybe an opportunity to have a date that will not clash with Gary's Picnic?

Suggestion: is there something we can issue (like the A4 MMA discount page for the Euronats) that is large and obvious and can be prominently displayed in car windscreens as MMA members cars enter or leave the site?? What I'm getting at is can we clearly show any Brooklands people which cars are ours so that if a Mopar, a Chrysler 300 or whatever messes around we can say clearly if that A4 paper was not on the car it is not a MMA club member. If something happens they may not care about whether they were a club member or not but I think after what happened last time we want to be sure as a matter of pride in the club that we can identify our cars.
I would also suggest writing to Brooklands to formally advise them of the 'one strike and you are out rule' in Pete's post.
Think we want to do everything to avoid giving any opportunity for future exclusion which might not be rescinded next time.
I know we've got plenty of time to think about how to ensure we don't have a repeat of 2014's happenings but along the lines of Simon's 'flyer' idea couldn't we simply have enough A5 or A4 sized flyers printed (I could provide them if cost is an issue) so that the Brooklands guys on the gate give them out to every driver as they pay on their way in?
We could ask them to ask the drivers to make sure they read the notice rather than just leaving it in the footwell for the rest of the day and say it's a condition of entry that all drivers agree to the No Burnouts ruling

A few Brooklands pics from the past. also a video from 2006.
We will have to speak to Brooklands about 2017 but the is plenty of time for that, saying that I am going down there in the New Year to meet with the new guy and sort a few thing out, he wasn't there in 2014 when the problem arose.

Thank you for posting those up, Derek. It looks like it was a fantastic event. So nice to see such a big diversity of models represented too. Historically, whenever I've seen mopars at car events it's usually just been a single lonely charger or challenger.
Nicola and I really must make a big effort to get out to some mopar events next year. I think we've been missing out!

We keep (in theory) about a year's worth of Events in the Events section and when they get older than about a year (or when I remember), they get moved to Photo Archive - Past Events.
Well done Del, good to see the show is back. It would certainly be good if it doesn't cash with Gary's Picnic, that's always assuming Shaky will still be open in 2017

I've not looked in that section yet? I think it's going to take me a while to get through it all!
Thanks Rob!

Really excellent news Derek, I love Brookers and I feel the club should be at such a prestigious venue, never missed a MMA outing to the home of British motor sport.
