The brightness is easily taken care of with a change of bulbs. Or even a change of the bulb holder in the lamp housing as well.
Another minor thing I did on the Chally was fit an extra and brighter lamp in each of the two front marker lights in the sides of the fenders. I wired them up to the turn signals so that, like the lights in the front vallance, they work as turn signals as well as side lights.

Doesnt give guidance as to the correct shade of amber. Mine are such a deep shade of amber, you could almost be forgiven for mistaking them for red.

my Charger's using the reverse lamps (with amber bulbs) as indicators at the moment, going to put it back to original soon

That begs another question. How does your car pass an MOT without reversing lamps?

Reversing lamps aren't statutory

Guy,
that makes no sense at all. Are you saying, disable the red flashing indicators that are original, change reverse lights so they flash, and install an amber lamp, so, no reverse lights, just oddly placed amber indicators with clear lens?????

73 Cudas are perfect for swapping reverse lights to flashers
