Finished up a few more jobs today....just some finishing off stuff. Indicator wiring tidied up, steering wheel and horn assembly back in, front seat back in and rear bumper tightened up. Roof to body trim on the passenger side refitted.

Im really pleased with the results of everything now as its coming together. Just a little bit of paint and door trim can go back on, finish polishing some recent paint, finish of the underseal on the sills and she will be done :thumbright:

It's all come together really well Steve.
Interior looks fantastic , body looking very straight and clean now and the black roof and steels create a great look.
Not forgetting all the other work involved.
Smashing car. Well done mate.

Nice to see the interior back together Steve. Have you got to put a headliner in? I've been putting mine off!

Yeah Miles...she needs a headliner. All the bars are there and ive painted the inside of the roof to keep it looking tidy but not got a headliner. I have a sample of the original material but the online colour charts Ive seen from suppliers arent a very good match....

Fair bid done today in what I would call a tropical day compared to recent days....,

Blended the top panel of the passenger door.....I seem to have got to grips with the technique now. I masked the panel and handle, flattened the paint with 1000 grit wet and dry. Cleaned it then started the basecoat. I stood towards the back of the car just behind the door. I started by holding the can about 18" away from the panel in my right hand then ran a hairdryer in my left hand, blowing from rear to front of the door. I then sort of flicked the paint down the panel, thicker at the back going to a dusting about half way down. I could see the paint just land Iike a mist so I could judge how much was going on. I then put 4 coats of clear on and will wet sand and polish later in the week.

I have also masked and sprayed underseal along the botom of the sills and the bottom edge of the rear quarter.

I properly secured the new master cylinder to rear fkexi pipe brake line, adjusted up and bled the brakes and checked the adjustment on the front wheel bearings.

Im off on Thursday so will finish the paint, refit the trim and mirror on the door, final check over then hopefully MOT next week. Starting to look like a complete car now :thumbright: :thumbright:
