Dave, Im still a long way off my dream Challenger, enjoying the C bods as always so will probably stick with 'real Mopars' for a while yet... ;) ;) ;)
Nope......your there mate!

Sell the Fury. Do up the next one coming in and flip that too........sell the Polara......and there you go. Should be able to get a Chally with the cash!

And when that's done, you can revert to getting in C's again to play with! :D

Make a dealer out of you for when you hang up the uniform! ;) :thumbright:

mmmm....I had thought of that Dave but I don't think I could ever sell my Polara...I just LOVE that car....would hate to see her go but never say never eh :thumbright:

Yeah, I will have a lot of time on my hands next year so might be able to get some beer money out of the hobby....see how it goes :thumbright:

Day off today so thought I would spend the day freezing my kahoonas off finishing some bits off....just watching American Pickers and trying to thaw out!!

Got the passenger door paint wet sanded and polished, door trim and mirror back on.

I really wasnt happy with the paint blend on the rear panel below the rear screen so I decided to paint it all and take the paint all the way across onto the drivers side upper rear fender and door. Glad I did as it looks a lot better.

I reckon I could easily paint the whole car using cans..,, Im halfway there already :thumbright: :thumbright:

Thanks Ali and Will :thumbright:

The PRO XL clear is great stuff, Im getting the hang of finishing with a 'wet' coat. It seems to cut down on the amount of wet sanding required for a smooth finish. I seem to have spent all day masking

Big step forward today....she passed the MOT with no advisories....Im chuffed! The owner of the garage wants to buy her, so another potential avenue come sale time.

She drives very nicely, much better than I had hoped for. Pulls very well, gear change is almost undetectable and smooth, handles and steers well for a big old car, no rattles or noises etc, just need to get used to those non power brakes, fun but good. I think the power brakes on the Polara have spoilt me!!

Took the longish route home and took some pics at a local park. A great day,

Cheers Steve :thumbright:

Great bit of news Steve.
And testament to all the hard work and effort you have put into the car.
Sounds like a lovely old mope to drive. It sure looks good.
In a way I hope this stays in the club when you decide to sell. I think I speak for us all who have followed this thread , that it almost deserves to be a " club " car !!!
Now pat yourself on the back and pour a JD and coke ! ;)

Thanks Pete....yeah, always a nice feeling when the tester is smiling!

Got a little glitch with the NOVA form that is being sorted out and then I can register her and get some plates etc. Really tempted to use her for while but I really should move her on as the New Yorker will be here in the Spring. Just loved driving her much more than I thought I would. The lowered stance etc really improves the handling and she is great fun to drive...think my head needs to start ruling my heart

Few more pics from today

Cheers Steve :thumbright:
