I'm not going 9's ( i wish ) but i only have five, although i could do with another one at the back as it sags a little but even with the hemi scoop, it doesn't lift at all.

A cowl is probably the way to go - the Dart's Hood lifted about 6" at the back down the track and the Barracuda's Dzuz fastners popped at around 120mph - scary watching them come undone like a Tom and Jerry movie.....
Used an old school hood pin at the back of the Plodge for added security and that worked well. That pulled 127mph ok with no problems........

Yes it was good to see you and Steve on Saturday, I hope you had a safe trip back.
Got a little further over the weekend finally got the brakes all bled the peddle is a little soft but I think thats down to the bore size of the master cylinder (stock drum) and the fact I have disc's all around. I will have to suck it and see
Also made a start on the wirin, no painless kit here just rolls of wire and a plan in my head

I'm using relays everywhere to take the load of off the all the switches. so fingers crossed.
I doubt I will get much done this week as I am on nights and going to Shakey thursday evening for Garys picnic..

G'day Guy.
Good to finally meet you on Saturday and to see your Dart.
Thanks again for the Aussie Valiant screen, safely stored in my garage now.
Your donation to 'Help for Heroes' as payment was made today.
Cheers
Steve

Yes Kev that was one of your old screens.
Small amount of progress
Got the bonnet fitted this morning with the aero catches nice and secure. The front bumber is not lined up and is one of the next jobs on the long list.

Thats a fantastic lookin machine Guy.
Absolutely love the late 60's Darts. Especially 68's (think they only did round indicators on the front that year, rest were square, feel free to set me straight).
Youtube vid of a guy in the states with a factory BB was what got me into Darts.............Yum Yum Yum.
When do you think it will debut?

Thats right Dave, round in 68 & rectangular in 69 - same for roadrunners, Satellites, GTX, Chargers, Coronets too.
An easy way to identify some models
Looking good Guy
If... sorry, when you do for an MOT Guy, hope the bloke that sits in the car isnt a tiddler or he wont be able to see over your cowl and might not give you your ticket

Its not helped by bolting my seat as low as it can go, the misses cant see around it well it saved me saying that she cant drive it
