You should have a go at TIG welding Jim, if you have ever gas welded it's easy but so much nicer. I don't like MIG, can't see what I am doing and I I always think I am going to set the garage on fire with all the sparks.

Jim the car looks fantastic it's a real credit to you. Seeing a job like this is a real inspiration to those going through the same pain. We are 2 years into the Coronet and some times it is difficult to see the the light at the end of the tunnel. If you have some more pics it would be great to see them

If you did want another project there is a guy on my message board selling his 1970 R/T convertible 440+6 4-speed car. Numbers matching and fender tag/broadcast sheet complete. Plumb Crazy and white interior on the options.
Worth a bloody fortune when restored.

i see where your coming from dave but i think next project would prob be a strict race car , as you well know doin a resto like that takes so much time out in your life before you know it 2-3 years has gone by and you aint seen much of life apart from cleaning and cutting out the rust and body prepping , all worth it in the end i know but i,m happy at the mo using it and doin things to make it faster , i guess that ole drag racing bug may have got to me
