I like the car as it is mate. If you want a rolling advert for your paint - buy a cheap panel van and paint that. ;)

Just had the car appraised, it is the law here for older cars... The appraiser was taken aback! He could not believe the condition of the car. Or how original it was, still has quite a few of the factory chalk makrkings on it! :thumbright:

Got all the rear brakes back together this afternoon, then went and got new plates for it, then off to get the re-test done. Passed :thumbright:

Now I notice it has a leak from the PS pump. Not sure if I should rebuild or disconnect!

Probably off to the Waterdown meet on sunday.

Went to a swap meet yesterday...... Just a few mins from the venue, slowed for some red lights..... Well I tried to slow! Accelerator cable stuck open, and those stock drum brakes are not that good!

Managed to get to the meet and fix it!

A nice pair of Fenton 5 spokes with tyres..... $200 ono, but 14" so passed on them.

Hey, Jeff; what's the rear wheel/tyre combination - widths, etc?

Cheers

Playing with that at the moment Pete....

The car is now plated and has a years sticker on it... Steering pump leak and trans. leak sorted. Seriously thinking about keeping the 318 poly, doing a few mods. and just having fun with it. Probably do some bracket racing with it. Keeping the overall cost under $7K (4,300 pounds). At the moment I have 3,900 pounds in it, but that includes the 440ci and 727TF.

Should be able to move them for around 500 quid. :thumbright:

I have really fallen for this car...... I just love driving it! So at the moment, I think it is probably wise to leave it..... Just fit a SG rear end. Freshen the motor and have fun with it.

I am driving it all the time! So will sell the 440 and BB trans. fit a 4BBL intake TTI headers and keep it!
