The underside has now been seam-sealed where appropriate and a nice coat of bed-liner should protect it from the future ravages of use on the UK roads. I've also had the interior of the shell painted in the same stuff. I was only going to do the boot interior initially to seal the internal edges of the replacement quarters but it seemed worthwhile to do a proper job as it should assist with sound deadening too. If all goes well Faux should have a gloss top-coat shortly. After that, I get the opportunity to find out just how much of the car has gone walkabout over the years and how many of the parts I have so far secured will actually be usable. (Expect requests for assistance in this respect soon).

Looking great, I remember mine at this stage, but I hand painted all of mine inside and underneath.

Well, the 2k's been flatted and the gloss applied as shown below. I know my original intention was for Faux to be plum crazy but it just looked so good in black! Should be doing more damage to my wallet soon.

Well, I really did like the 15" Torq-Thrusts shown earlier in the thread and I did consider the regulation steels but I was also toying with putting 17" Rallye wheels on which would have looked good against the black. However, I've decided on something else entirely.
