Well , do you need my bag of granules for all that oil on the floor? Is the ceiling oily? Hope U get it sorted,nothing worse than this sort of problem.

Thanks Brian, ive torqued it up real tight with a correct gasket. I'm hoping to fire it later to-day and then i'll have somebody watching the filter area really closely.

WELL?????????Is it 8) or is it :twisted: .Or maybe just plain :? Keep at it cocker,weve all been there with this type of problem.I have used a 90 degree take off but had to have an ali adaptor made to mate the 90 degree jobbie to the block,and have some O rings made to suit(which I have 8 spares of as there was a ?5.00 minimum charge so I said I`ll have a fivers worth and got 10)Can take pix if they may be of any use...

Rich, thanks, i'll keep that in mind as I want to fit apair of 340 manifolds that I have. i'm going to mock them up on the old 318 engine and check whether there is a need for a right angle adaptor.

Got the motor to fire today but the battrey was struggling so i've taken it back to the shop for checking.
