I did wonder... if it would help I can take the Valiant now rather than waiting till it's finished!

You'll have to wait a bit yet Dorian but keep the money warm for me! Replaced every bush and balljoint on the front, new hoses, brake lines, wheel cylinders and shocks all round. I had a manual steering box in stock so I swapped that in too, I'm not keen on power steering on these cars. Currently trying to unsieze the handbrake cables. Still got a fair amount to do for the MOT but the list is getting a lot shorter...

Yes it's SBP. I will be having a word with Trev D to see if he can re drill the stock set up as a short term fix so I can put a decent set of wheels on it. In the longer term I will fit front discs and have the B body 8.75" axle I have in stock shortened to fit.

Blue what do you mean by decent set of wheels?

Assume you are referring to choice of wheels on 5x4.5 pattern.

you are doing great on your Barracuda, I wish I could do the same

No surgery on this one, I very much doubt I'll ever tub another car.

Work continues, bought a complete screen washer kit as I was missing everything, so that's done. Found out why the pulleys didn't line up, the water pump one was off a Ford  , new pulleys incoming. Started the headlight swap and conversion to halogen headlights, front panel had some dents and the grilles needed looking at so I pulled the lot off for easier access and a bit of a sort out...

How weird is it that the Ford water pump actually bolted up??
