Mmmm. Walls are worryingly bent !
Any chance you could put a partition wall ( with door and diagonal bracing ) about half of the length ?? Wouldn't want any more movement with my car in there.
Sorry Will. Perhaps I'm being a tad cautious.
Lovely size though.

No chance i'd risk my car in there unless that structure is properly safe.........Big wind = Big bang!

Lol
I said the same
It's been like this for 18 years I drove my capri into it and she didn't move
My good friend is a structural engineer and had said she ant going no ware
It's to cheap to big and to dry I have to risk it till she is on the road
Thinking about a roll cage around the car

Will. I'm taking it that the external walls are stud work ?
If that's the case. Even if you could put a small diagonal brace from a stud in the wall to a roof joist at 45 degrees ( say every third or forth joist ) each side would help lock it all in and prevent further movement.
Most of our car parts are 40+ years old. One day they will break !!!!!
Not trying to put a downer on things mate. But if the owner would be happy for you to make a few modifications in the garage you would both benefit. Longer rental for them , and peace of mind for you.

Sorry. Just had another look at pics. Vaulted truss roof so a diagonal support on every joist.

Thanks for the roof advice
Finally got my dash wiring finshed all tested on bench and fitted in car

Steve lets try to keep this on track please
Your welcome to come around for tea any time
Next up i made a bracket to hold a line lock and a bias valve.
This fits next to drivers seat.
Just realised need to now flare the pipes with them in the car
that's going to be fun
