I forgot to say.

What really makes a "fast rate of lift" very like a roller is the use of good 1.6:1 ratio roller rockers.

I have to say. The geometry of the 1.6:1 Hughes Engines rockers I used was very good. They just need shims to get the side-to-side centering on the valve spot on. Shimmed with minimal side clearence you also get good oil control from the rocker shaft. The rockers themselves have good oil distribution to the pushrod and valve without needing everything swamped in oil. The shaft hold downs were the strongest I have come across. :thumbright:

oh yes they do

just not big block ones....

strongest aluminium rockers in the world....if you belive their site.

Yes, dont know why they stopped making the BB ones.
they are very strong and very well made, Geof was impressed with the roller size and construction of the arm.

Only 1.5 ratio though
