the MMA stand looked fantastic, gorgeous cars, well done to everyone involved 8-)

After an extended chin wag early doors with Nicola, Jon, Adrian, John, Pete and Steve, pleased to report we did make it to the end of the show for about 5.15pm, :D

Not too many photos from me this time, I'll post a few later

brilliant!! Wish I'd have known that at the time, I'd have primed my mate Malc to ask the question, he'd already had a 'discussion' with Pete about Mustangs, ha ha, :D :D :D

That was a great discussion Si, at least the guy had a great sense of humour; even if he is a bit mis-guided!!!!

Good to see you as ever!

All the best.

What a fantastic 4 days. :thumbright:
It was brilliant from start to finish. It was so nice to finally put a few more names to faces. I had some great chats with James, Matt H, JC, Mr Runner, Justin, Rob, Stu and others… I was genuinely taken aback by the volume of positive comments that we received from both the public and club members.

Steve and Pete have done a fantastic job coordinating the event. Everything went incredibly smoothly from start to finish and Steve went above and beyond to ensure that we had all the information that we needed beforehand so rightly deserves a special mention and a massive "thank you".

The one thing that continues to impress me with this club is how warm and genuine the members are. Such is the level of enthusiasm and camaraderie in the MMA by the end of play on Sunday it felt like as if I'd known Pete, Steve, John, Simon, Anne-Marie and Adrian for 4 years never mind just 4 days. What a genuinely nice bunch of people you MMA guys and gals are!

Thank you all for making it an awesome experience and for making both Nicola and I feel so welcome.

Well, that was a bit of a busy 4 days.

Had a fantastic time and it was great to meet some members as they dropped by the stand and put names to faces. Loads of interest from the public on all the cars we had on the stand. Everything from old hands who’d been around cars since they could walk to people who ‘just like muscle cars’ and for them we certainly had a bit of everything.

I was thinking initially that maybe I’d spend just some time here and there at the stand but once meeting the rest of the crew and seeing the interest from the public I was pretty much glued there for 4 days along withe everyone else. It was great company and we all got along famously over what felt like some pretty long days . Many thanks to Simon, Anne-Marie, John, Nicola and John for bringing along their cars and it was great to meet you all.

Must call out the stellar work done by Steve organising this. To his credit everything went like clockwork - we had all the right forms, instructions, stickers, tickets, biscuits etc. etc. and for such a big event that makes all the difference.

It was great to meet Pete ‘the closer’ Wiseman again and have a decent natter about all things car related. He managed to sign up over 10 new members for the club which I think was double what we did last year. On top of that I think there were at least 5 or more who took away membership forms for themselves or friends with MOPARS.

For anyone who get’s the opportunity to show their car with the club at the NEC show I’d highly recommend it.

Some fantastic photos there. :)

To echo what Jon and Adrian have already said, it was a great weekend and we were made to feel very welcome by other club members.

Looking forward to more meets and shows next year.

Great pics again Si - good to see a few cars that we missed.

What day did you go? I presume it was Sunday, going by JC's shirt - looks like his Sunday Best! ;)
