Here is the the 'new' subframe

Now Stripped down. Man those strut rods didn't want to come undone!

and had it shotblasted at a local place.

Rear springs rebushed (that was a Bananarama!!) And smartened up. Tank straps stripped and repainted

Doors had some rot at the bottom so it was decided to make new skins for the lower doors on both sides to save future rot uglies.

Engine removed from old subframe and taken outside for a damn good wash

Looking good Will,but I would get round to Pauls pretty quick if I were you. You`ve been threatening to drop that log for weeks now..

Enjoying the thread but you need to slow down. It took me 4 years to get to the stage you're at now, and my bloody Impala still isn't finished :(
