I need to take the front screen out of my 71 Duster,to replace the seals etc.Unsure of what seals that I need or where to get them from,is this a DIY job or not.Any help/info would be greatly appreiceated.

Its a bonded windscreen, if it were my car, I'd get a pro to deal with it (given the cost of getting fresh glass shipped over). That said, I've got the right tool ...

Definitely a pro-job.

Too easy to make a mistake!

Most windshield fitters I know love a Challenge(r).

Think 70/71 went Bonded, tricky stuff!

On your car Mark, yes it does, not the end of the world, but treat yourself to a new rubber if you take it out. My '73 Duster screen was fitted with a rubber, so I assume earlier cars would be, I have never come across an A body yet with bonded screens. I have taken loads of screens out and refitted them, it isn't that hard to do, I did crack the Dart screen last time I was putting it in though....

Hi Blue and Mitch.

Just to clarify a point, same or simiar rubber as earlier models but bonded to the frame! Sometimes the glass is also bonded into the rubber and has to be cut out. Will check this for you guys.
