Well I have the instructions here for my line lock and it clearly states you MUST install it in the front brake line with a momentary switch.

So there! :P

Well no Kev. I just looked at the diagrams when I actually installed it. I only read the instructions for the first time just now. :D

I just found some more instructions with loads of diagrams showing how to install the kit for the back or front for different types of brake systems.

It was the Summit Racing instructions that say front only.

Mines a Hurst unit, which locks the fronts on. You put your foot down hard on the brake , pull the button in and hold it , take your foot off the brake leaving the front wheels pinned and mash the throttle 8-) Sooooo I take its in the front line............

Bit difficult doin a rolling burnout then, unless you know exactly how hard to push the peddle then lock it. :help:

Unless you forget the line lock & wear the backs out.

I've not fitted mine yet, but as its an auto, i think i'll put it in the back line.
Press the button before applying brake with lift foot.

If it were a manual, you'd need to have lift foot on clutch so you'd put it in the front, press button after stomping the brake. Then dump the clutch in your own time.

I aint got one yet but at the moment I fall into the 'I back the rear brake adjusters off 'til they don't work (I have no respect for life!)' category.
I havent backed em off, they're just really rubbish brakes.
Getting discs fitted all round soon so that'll be a good time to stick one in. Think I'll probably go for locking the rears off.
