Valiant 6 water pump.

Had a call from Jilly who co-owns the Valiant VE estate that was at the Ace. It has a 170ci six in it but she reckons it straight up not on the slant. She needs a waterpump. Would it be the same pump for slant or upright? Any leads appreciated. I've Emailed BlueStar but obviously a more local option is a cheaper option. She also needs front flexipipes and brake pads. TIA!

I believe the slant and straight engines are completely different.

If it is a straight 6 it will be enormously rare since they weren't offered until the VG model. As far as I have looked there are only a handfull of straight 6's in UK:

Matts, Steve's, the Centura in the Museum. There was an R/T scrapped, what happened to that engine?

Thanks James. I thought it would be a slant but she was unsure. Any lead on a waterpump over here?
