The Challengers back
Hello folks, my Challenger is finally back on the road after a year and a half. It has had a full paint strip down, new rear quarter, new rear screen panel, front and rear vallance, and loads of rot cut out along the way. The engine was gonna remain untouched but after getting drunk at a tattoo convention my mate offered to pull it out and paint it, this resulted in a top end rebuild as nearly all the core plugs were rotton and the timing chain could be preesed together to meet in the middle, as well as this most of the waterways were blocked as was the rad. There was also limited oil flow, it's a miracle that it ran but it did and ran well. I'm now running it in, It's got new headers and it's going into pipecraft in a couple of weeks for a new exhaust, after that it's onto the rolling road for a proper set up, cruising in the summer then back to the painters in the winter for a few mistakes to be sorted out.
I've started with some old pics,, then some of the resortation and then finally it's first show at The Damn Yankees.
