Manual Steering box

Post by GTXJim »

Hi all fitted a manual steering box to my brothers 65 Coronet, box seemed fine when off the car worked great no tight spots or play. When fitted on the car and bolted up it wouldn't turn right from center so wiggled it back and forth and it freed up but now has way to much play, about half a turn before anything happens and there seem's to be a lot of play on the shalf going into the box. SO
Have I killed it?
Is it repairable?
Can anyone repair It?
Does anyone have a spare?
Cheers Jim

Oh dear. I think you broke something.

You sure it is not just the coupling that has let go?
