on a serious note, a vac pump is reputed to improve evacuation and ring to bore seal. it must work or all the realy fast cars wouldnt waste power driving them. i know a couple of peole who run them i will see if i can find out more. in the mean time it looks like pete will be in demand at the nats :thumbright:

another option is to use an exhaust evac system

it's free, uses no hp to drive it

small tubes go into the collectors at an angle, these are then piped to breathers, the air speed of the exhaust gases in the collectors create a vacuum
