Gearbox trouble

Post by Anonymous »

Been out in the car today and when you get to about 70-80 and then back off, the gearbox starts to slip when you get back on the power  I only noticed as some plonker pulled infront of me

You need to adjust the bands next.

Also unless you are using a manual valve body you need to use and adjust the kick down lever because that can cause slipping.

If it still slips you have a problem with pressure (poss. worn pump) or just worn internal seals etc. All easily repaired with a rebuild kit.
