Can I jack the Duster up on the rear diff? I wanna check the ratio and see if it's a suregrip.

Chock the front wheels if you have a free running jack and you're on a slope!

If you arent on a slope and have a free running jack, chock the wheels just for the hell of it.

I,ve got stands down at the lock up and just a normal trolly jack. I was tempted to just jack it up under the diff but did not want to risk it. Funnly enough when I floored it on gravel I left two deep churn marks in it so thats why I wanna check to see if its got a suregrip.

You don't need to get under it to check, just lift the diff so the wheels are an inch off the ground, grab one wheel and give it a turn, if the other wheel spins the same way, you've got a sure grip.

You should be able to scope out one of the ujs corners that can be used as a datum to roughly check the ratio.

1 turn of the wheel, 4 turns of the diff plus a 1/10th is what you need!
Anything less is a bit theatrical.......
