What is the weight of your car and I will do some sums to see if you were making the power or loosing the traction.

Is 2900lbs your race weight?

i.e. including you, fuel etc?

If so you were only making 247hp at the wheels at the weekend and loosing 29hp due to loss of traction.

With no wheel spin you would have run 13.23 seconds.

This is a simplistic guide but good enough for you to look at your set-up and ways to improve things.

Impressive going for a Neon though. There are big block cars in this club that run a lot slower than that. :thumbright:

"Only 247hp at the wheels" Out of a 4 banger? I reckon that's pretty good going!

Shame it don't have 4WD like a Scooby-Doo - no wheelspin in those. Aargh... I sound like a ricer :runaway!:

Yeah but he is supposed to be making 305hp so either the weight is wrong or the engine/driver were having a bad day. ;)
