engine and gear box

Decided to spend my sunday productivly and take out the engine and gearbox from Julies '67 Dart....

Even I was impressed with the ease they came out....thanks to good design by Blue :thumbright:

To her credit she did make me a coffee and helped me undo the flex plate bolts, but she found it a bit cold today...

Impressed Pete, considering it was virtually running when we saw it at 1015 this morning! Good job you got it done when you did, its snowing here now.

Yes Matt, in the bath by 13:30, including stopping for lunch and re-arranging the garage. Don't you love motorpated cars with no inner fenders.

That motor has done really well - two seasons racing and no poblems at all. Only 9.8:1 compression ratio - Julie's next one is 11.7:1.

Tempted to put it in the Coronet with a six pack on; but I know the sensible thing to do would be to sell the car..............
