Finall got the GVs (thanks Bob) , it does'nt mention the problem Dave R had when he over revved the motor with his 'handy footwork'

, you would of thought the manual would point this out , cos it looks to me like an easy mistake to make.

Shifted from second over to second , instead of shifting to 3rd , pulling the revs right up , think he bent a couple of push rods , this looks to be a very easy mistake , if you're in second gear you hit the GV floor switch to put you in second over , you then have to shift into 3rd gear wait to hear the change , then hit the floor switch to get you into 3rd , to get into 3rd over you hit the switch again to take you into 3rd over. If you are in second gear then hit the switch , it will take you to second over , if you hit the switch without changing to 3rd gear it will take you back to second gear

.
It's ok on the street , but when yer head is goin ten to the dozen on the track , i can see how easy it must be to mess up.

So , with that little ole 318 in the pit , around 13.8 1/4 mile.

Goin by your statistics................
Take the 440 out the Pit , stick it in the Taxi , would make for something like 10.5 1/4 mile NA , imagine it with gas

, you would'nt be driven it home.

Mind you Kev, you are at the point where you will be also putting some weight in to the car, cage, SFC's etc.
I would think the Sox and taxi will be close on the scales next year; Julies will be lighter next year and under 2900lbs with a 650+bhp motor.
