rallye dash resto clock q

anybody know how to remove the chrome thumb wheel from the spindle that’s used to adjust the time?? tried to unscrew it but it just spins round, didn’t want to pull it too hard in case i damaged the clock

Look in the centre mate. You need a watch makers screwdriver (flathead) Inside the thumbwheel is a tiny grub screw. Unscrew that and Chernobyl Fall out or fall off. Whichever you please.


You can see the grub screw in yer photo.

Don't drop the screw :twisted: It will hide it your carpet. :lol:

cheers fellas :thumbright:, I can see the grub screw but presumed that was a slot in the end of the spindle so I was trying to undo the thumb wheel against that, instead of holding the spindle and undoing the screw, d’oh!! I’ll have a look at that tonight

Lost mine in the Challenger too.
