I realise the problem in my case , but if the speed is there , why can't you get the ETs , regardless of any problems.

Maybe a silly question , but i don't know.

Dave, now you mention that, if running out of fuel at the top end equates to the car screaming at 7,000rpm across the line.....does it not also find itself under the same conditions at the top of each gear change too, assuming we're shifting at the same rpm we cross the line? ....I'll just go and fill me glass again while I wait for enlightenment!Dave wrote:MPH is an indication of the power you are making at the rear wheels.

Also it assumes you are not bogging off the line or running out of fuel at the top end.
