Are you painting this car from bare metal up or repainting over sound original paintwork?

Also, are you talking about five litre batches of original material or mixed ready for use?

I love answering questions with even more questions ;)

Some panels will be replaced, so will be primered fresh, the rest will be cleaned down, the paint is already mixed ready for use, not sure how much to get, just dont want to get stuck with a car i want a certain colour and not be able to get the paint, its the end of a batch which will not be hanging around for long as far as im aware, includes primer, hardner green base and clear, is 5ltrs enough?

Sorry Mo, I'm still none the wiser mate!

Here's roughly what I used on a completely stripped B Body:

6 Litres of Epoxy Etch Primer
6 Litres of Sanding Primer
5 Litres of Basecoat
4 Litres of Clear

That was inside and out, the entire shell, using top quality materials, not cheap stuff. There's a chance you'll use a lot more basecoat and clear if you by a cheaper brand.

Hope that helps matey!

If it is the end of the batch, get too much. You may need it at a later date.
If I were putting a vinyl top on, I would take more care on the roof, and yes paint it, once its on, you can't see what is going on under there.
I am keeping this Mopar....... SOLD!
