Boneshaker - slowly getting there now

Post by Anonymous »

Some photos of Simon's (Mitchville Autobodies) altered dragster. It's slowly getting there now - engine and trans is in place. Next step is getting funds together to buy the fuel lines, get it all hooked up and run the engine up. 2 years and still haven't heard the engine run

Photos were taken when we took it down to the South East Custom and Classic Show in June. The only difference now is that it has headers fitted.

Still hoping for an Easter completion all being well.

Cheers guys. We're hoping to run it in Super Pro next year. Also been chatting with the Chris and the guys from the Wild Bunch and they are keen to get us racing with them too. Although its a fairly new altered (about a 94 build) we wanted to give it a bit of an Old Skool feel. We reckon every dragster should be named like back in the 60's and 70's - took ages to decide on one we liked!

Artwork was done by a guy who does airbrushing at the bodyshop - lots of hours of work -lets just hope Si doesn't land it in the wall to quickly

As I said, still a long list of jobs to be done, but we'll get there in the end! :thumbright:
