BUMMER ITS GOT TO GO

hi all here are some pics of my 1955 plymouth savoy
not your normal MMA muscle car , but i like 50s cars
i think it ticks some mopar box,s though
factory v8 , two door post ,
nealy finished 12volt and neg earth conversion
its got a 260 poly v8 and manual box
have got a set of moon gauges to replace factory dials
and am rebuilding a 318 to drop in with a decent cam and victor jnr air,gap manifold and holley carb , mallory dual point
am in two minds wether to go street racer look or kustom
will keep you posted with info and pics as i get jobs done

I'm with Simone, and like you I have a big soft spot for fifites cars also, so I love that Savoy.

Mild Kustom would go well with it I think. Not sure how you feel about bodywork but I reckon a dose of de-seaming and frenching would go well, plus some very very subtle pinstriping.

Could you get a 440 in it? :lol: :thumbright: :thumbright:

but ive got a 318 in stock and a 704 :(
SO JUST TRYING TO FIND OUT IF 318 WILL FIT THE STOCK THREE SPEED MANUAL BOX BEFORE RIPPING IT ALL OUT :D

the poly is a 260 and the 318 is a normal one from a 1970 : corronet

p.s got my 7 and 9 muddled up :lol:

I had a 318 LA block on a older poly auto trans, worked fine, kick down rod was home made to work right :thumbright:

I THINK I WILL GO WITH THE AUTO

I think the car looks great as is mate :thumbright: im not keen on those matt coloured ones i think yours looks better as is two tone :thumbright: its a nice Blue =P~
