The real reason for all this reflection..

...is the weather! It sucks. Dark.wet. windy.
I stripped all parts and hardware ready to pull my engine from the Dart for a refresh. Cam, gaskets, freeze plugs etc.. and then the weather turned.
I have to work on my drive as only the car fits in the garage, not me as well.
So, crane ordered for Saturday if the weather holds

and then i can strip the motor in the comfort of the shed!
Meanwhile, winter means
No Racing
Only careful (!) hooning
No show for the polishers
no wonder we have a bout of serious introspection going on!

Been tryin to get the ole 440 out the Pit , if it aint raining i'm too busy , plus the nights drawing in don't help...........maybe there's a bit of sentiment there too.

Hoping to get a crane for Saturday. A balmy 14 degrees forecast
