Patina '68 Charger wheel dilemma.

She's on the original Magnum 500s but I want fatter ones on the back. I want a Moonshine runner look. The body will stay untidy but solid so it looks nasty as hell. Question is, what should the '68 wear? I keep going back to steelies and redlines like this:

But what about fatter Magnums like this:

Or Torque Thrust ORIGINALS??

Or what about these spokes. Are they Macleans wires?

BUT I LOVE THESE

I am in the minority as I like black (or body coloured) steels and just black tyres with no lettering or side wall treatment.

I don't think "bling" will work on that car as it stands; but Torque Thrusts work on virtually anything....

Not taken any actually bar this one, just after it had been dragged out of the garage and the exhaust had fallen off. Got hubcaps and the car actually cleaned up v well. Less than 40k on clock. Not used on road since 1987!

Anyway let's not change the subject...

For those uninformed people, "Budgies" (after our honorable colleague Mr Bird) = Torque Thrust ORIGINALS. :thumbright:

I have the hubcaps for the Pacer too. All totally rock stock but she needed EVERY single brake component you can imagine. I hope to get it on the road sometime soon but I co-own it with a mate who is being lazy...

If I was going for the Moonshine runner look I'd go for black steels with plain tyres as stated above. Totally mean but cool!!
