OK, so its not Mopar related, but thought I would post a link to my mates 1st roof chop.
Never to do things by half, so thought he would try it out on his old Steel 32 5 Window.
Just got to convince him now to do his steel 32 3 Window

Check out Ford's answer to the body cracking!
Fair play doing it the old fashioned way.
No fibre body shell here, just good old fashioned skills. And a dodgy old S & J hacksaw! Well done getting a straight line with that.
Impressive stuff.

Impressive stuff.

24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not…

Hack saw is fine, you can get a nice straight cut & also it's controllable. Helped that the inside was still wooded out, so it supported the shell while cutting (didn't pinch the blade)Stu wrote:And a dodgy old S & J hacksaw! Well done getting a straight line with that.![]()

Ah! Thought it may have been braced to stop it pinching, but that explains it.
Good skills and definitely big kahoona's to make a first attempt on something so cool.
Interesting to see all the bracing that goes into it once the roof comes off.
