Jesus this would seem unthinkable anyway

"The trick involves extending the body away from the motorcycle and grabbing the seat as the motorcycle is upside down, then pulling back aboard as the motorcycle is righted before landing. Lusk clearly had trouble getting back on the seat"

Great shame especially so young

Usual YouTube drivel in the comments on that link  better not look if you're the sensitive type

I'm surprised there arent more fatalities in that sport, I guess they usually get away with a broken leg, or at worse, back. Spose it shows the skill level they have if they can (normally) avoid landing on their head/neck

Such a waste, but he knew the risks...

But how do you practice that? I mean, if I was doing that there is no way I would be able to get it right first time (or even the 10th time). :?

i suppose you hope to get it right 1st time, but if you don't you hope to be able to bale out or land without too much injury
ticking away the moments that make up a dull day, you fritter and waste the hours in an offhand way.

That puzzled me for a long time Dave- they have a 'foam pool'.
They set a ramp with the landing in a swimming pool full of chopped foam.

Damn shame this, these guys are among the bravest and most skilled sportsmen on the planet. It's astonishing they've lasted this long without getting squished.
No-one will believe you...

Different angles here

Shows you the extent of it.

I have many friends that motorcross, but once you start flipping, the risks are massive!
