Removing glue from paintwork
Took the side mouldings of my polo, and i knew i would be left with glue residue but it is taking AGES to take off with a small wooden spatula. What do you think would get it off easier?

Pete, you want some heat on it first.... This will soften the glue nicely. Then you want a nice decal / vinyl scraper, It have some here somewhere. It will come off a treat. Then remove any residue with the panel wipe.
3 reasons not to use a DA..
1 Too abrasive
2 Too messy
3 will spread small amount of old glue around the panel. That will kick you in the ass when you repaint!
I probably have all you need round here.

My Dad used to have a sign manufacturing company and used this exclusively. I've still got a can left. Used it recently to get sticky tape off a very expensive bath. No problems and as it's citrus based it smells nice too!!
Can't recommend it highly enough. No need for hair dryers or other heat. Just spray and wipe off so no scratches either. Easy.
