These aren't to everyone's taste but I rather like them so I went to the DVCA auction at Templecombe this week with the intention of making this my next project.
There was no engine or gearbox but that's relatively easy (Ford V8 on this one) and it has the most bizarre flock velvet interior. (You can see more here on the Historic vehicles tab (page 2)- http://www.dvca.co.uk/)
In the metal the car was in very poor shape and by the end of the day there was a fair amount of rusted metal on the ground underneath that had fallen off the car. Both sills are completely shot and there is a lot of work to do.
Born optimist as I am, I did join in but was outbid by someone on the phone - I hope they had seen it before hand and new what they were getting.
Great day out though.

From there site.
This little-known make of motor car produced the exciting 'Muscle Cars', including the Grifo 7 Litre. What is not widely realised is that during the 1950's, they also produced the Isetta Bubble Car.
Offered here is the more uncommon Iso Lele, being one of just 48 right hand drive examples made out of the 317 built in total. The Lele Fastback GT replaced the earlier Rivolta, producing a more refined motor car.
Spares are relatively easy to obtain for these models, which may be fortuatous due to the fact that this restoration-project Lele has been barn stored and is minus the Ford 5.8 litre engine and automatic gearbox, although this should not present a major problem. The unique interior still remains intact - the seats are trimmed in beige flock velvet, which was a factory-installed option.
This Iso is recorded in the Iso/Bizzarrini Club records, with full build details. These are included in the history file, together with the V5C registration certificate, correspondence and photographs etc...
This vehicle is to be offered without reserve.
Guide: £1000 - 2000
I see that the earl yer model was called the "Rivolta" i would call the interior of this Revolting
