heaven is startin the motor for the first time

Post by TrevD »

decided to put a new (second hand) 360 in the camper, one came up at the right price so saturday went to GWAK (seldom heard of member) workshop to pull it from its 1956 pickup home. sunday i pulled the original motor and swapped the sump (only mod needed) and threw, well forced, it in (getting motors out of and in to vans isnt easy, thanks Blue :thumbright: ) tonight i got the ignition wired up, it was on points but now on electronic with chrome box. i connected the battery and it fired up (timing just thrown in) i havnt yet put the manifolds on so flames were hitting my foot :angryfire: but now its put the rad back in and add water and its a runner, happy or what :D

ticking away the moments that make up a dull day, you fritter and waste the hours in an offhand way.
