Slick Sixpacks mag arranged for us, The RT Pacer and sixpack charger owners to do the parade laps before the Bathurst 24 hour race.
This was the same weekend that England were going to beat the Aussies at rugby. Needless to say it was a last minute descision to go. Stick it up the Aussies in town or fang the car round Bathurst. We ended up doing both.

round the track. Scary is not the word...it has corners!!! hair pin bends after blind summits etc and you really have no frame of reference to indicate how fast you are going. Hit 100 MPH on Conrod streight which was good considering there was a 60KPH speed limit
the smell of hot car was interesting.Back for a barby then hooned it down to sydney to drink and rugby the night away.
